Once again while tutoring at the Writing Center, we did not have an appointment or walk-ins. I think the lack of students is primarily due to the weather – I know that the weather is getting to me. I do not like winter and the lack of sunlight, not to mention the fluctuations in weather. It has been an unpleasant winter and I think this contributes to whether or not students make the effort to go to tutoring. The Academic Success Center has also been slower. Not to mention that Spring Break is just around the corner. We might have someone the Monday before Spring Break, though, because a lot of papers and assignments are going to be due.
