We did not have class Friday to make up for time spent in the Writing Center. I took this time to seriously start my final paper for this class. I am doing my final paper on structuralism as it applies to GameStop commercials. It is going rather well, but I am having a hard time finding at least three other scholarly sources that I find useful. I plan at looking at the series of commercials from the perspective of formal structure, knowledge and power, and I plan to look post-structuralism a bit too. I still have to make my appointment to talk about my paper though.
