This was the last week of tutoring and we actually had someone. Oddly enough we only had students twice the entire semester - the first week and the last. The student came in as a walk-in and needed help developing an outline for her research paper for ENG 1010. We were able to help her not only set up a formal outline structure; we also showed her how to apply her thesis statement correctly. Since I am taking speech class right now, I also helped her with the formal set-up of the outline. I also recommended the OWL at Purdue if she needed help with her MLA. It was nice to actually help someone with a problem.
